Following a career in HRM and management within a range of industry sectors, I returned to my first love of language and linguistics, training as a Speech and Language Therapist and subsequently moving into teaching English as foreign language.  All these pathways led me to academic writing, which I have undertaken for the past five years, a move which reignited by passion for writing that requires me to combine theoretical and practical knowledge.
