I have worked on a contractual, freelance basis for the previous seven years writing, editing and researching for academic and business clients. Prior to working as an academic writer, I worked in sales and travelled in Australia and Asia for a period of two years after graduating from university. It was a desire to use the skills I learned at university and my interest in writing and research that drew me to academic writing as a career. My main area of interest is history, but I also assist students studying any humanities topic, particularly politics, media and sociology.
